NOx sensors

Nitrogen Oxide Sensors (NOx) are designed to monitor and reduce emissions in diesel vehicles through continuous NOx monitoring during engine operation.

These sensors comprise a ceramic sensing element and a control unit, and are positioned in the exhaust pipe with the sensor exposed to the exhaust gases.

Depending on the aftertreatment system in place, one or more NOx sensors may be mounted on the exhaust system. These sensors communicate with the engine control unit or the aftertreatment control unit via the CAN bus.
