Coupling heads

Coupling heads are used to connect the control and filling lines between the motor and the trailer in a two-circuit brake system. There are two types of coupling heads, with a check valve, which are used in motor vehicles, and without a check valve (continuous) for trailers. We can also find newer trailers which contain coupling heads with an integrated filter.

A separate category of coupling heads are the so-called DUOMATIC heads, where both the filling and control lines of a two-circuit brake system can be connected in one operation.
