Volvo Trucks is a Swedish truck manufacturer belonging to the Volvo Group. The company was established in 1927. At that time, the first truck, the LV 1 series, was still in its design phase, however already in 1928, it was introduced to the public. This model was a success and 500 units were sold in the first year. It was equipped with a two-liter four-cylinder engine with an output of 21 (kW).

Since then, Volvo Trucks has become Europe's largest truck manufacturer. The reliability of Volvo vehicles is renowned, as is quality, safety and respect for the environment.

To mark the 75th anniversary, Volvo has added a 750-horsepower engine to its range. As a result, they produce the strongest road truck in the world.
